![]() God Eater is set in a post-apocalyptic future where beings called Aragami have laid waste to the planet. ![]() Finally, a second enhanced remake of the original game comes in the form of God Eater Resurrection - the game we’re examining here - released a few months before God Eater 2: Rage Burst in North America, but coming simultaneously with the latter in Europe. The sequel also got the enhanced remake treatment with God Eater 2: Rage Burst created for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, which at the time of writing has a western release imminent. ![]() Bandai Namco and Shift then created a full sequel, God Eater 2, for PlayStation Portable and PlayStation Vita, but again this was released only in Japan. This was followed up by an enhanced remake, God(s) Eater Burst, also for PlayStation Portable but this time released in North America and Europe as well. First, there was the original God Eater, released only in Japan on PlayStation Portable. ![]() Before getting into the meat of this review, it’s worth going over how the various God Eater releases tie together.
